Areas of Opportunity
Are you a self-starter with a strong analytical background who loves to find solutions? We’re looking for Future Makers who are curious and tech savvy.
We are seeking applications from students in the following majors: economics, finance, business, computer science/engineering, systems engineering, information technology, analytics, or math/statistics. A strong GPA is preferred, and candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. Below are some of our areas of opportunity.
Discover what it’s like to work in the areas of business and operations analysis, financial reporting, and data management while supporting business management offices and corporate teams.
Leverage industry-leading data to generate actionable insights that drive innovation. You’ll use Open-Source Software and learn statistical processing languages, including SQL, R, Python, and Tableau.
Deepen skills in designing, coding, testing, and supporting software products related to meeting customer requirements. Use formal software methodologies and partner with business areas to develop a comprehensive understanding of how existing applications support the business.
Understand how applications support Fannie Mae’s business while focusing on IT infrastructure components to meet business and technical requirements. Gain a deep understanding of technical mathematical analysis, requirements documentation, and system and risk analysis.
The goal from day one for many interns is to make an impression, help your team reach their objectives, and accomplish something meaningful.
