Mega Trust Agreements

Each Mega is created as a trust and is governed by a trust agreement.

The trust agreement – along with its exhibits – defines the terms of the deal, describes how the deal will be executed, and lists the deal's parameters or limitations.

Single-Family

Fannie Mae executed a new Single-Family Mega Master Trust Agreement, effective May 1, 2018, that is used for Single-Family Mega pools with issue dates on or after May 1, 2018. From this point forward, Single-Family and Multifamily Mega Certificates will be issued under separate Mega trust agreements. Mega and SMBS Certificates will continue to be issued under separate trust agreements.

Multifamily

Fannie Mae executed a new Multifamily Mega Master Trust Agreement, effective May 1, 2018, that is used for Multifamily Mega pools with issue dates on or after May 1, 2018. From this point forward, Single-Family and Multifamily Mega Certificates will be issued under separate Mega trust agreements.

Combined Mega Trust Agreements

Historic combined Mega Trust Agreements (used for both Single-Family and Multifamily and for some SMBS issuances) apply to the settlement date ranges listed below.

Each is presented as a Portable Document Format (PDF) file.
