To reduce barriers to homeownership for creditworthy, very low-income purchase (VLIP) borrowers, the HomeReady® mortgage now offers $2,500 in down payment or closing cost assistance.* To qualify, homebuyers must have an income 50% or less of the applicable Area Median Income (AMI) of the property's location.
