Fannie Mae Prices $705.9 Million Multifamily DUS REMIC (FNA 2018-M4) Under Its GeMS Program

WASHINGTON, DC – Fannie Mae (FNMA/OTC) priced its fourth Multifamily DUS® REMIC in 2018 totaling $705.9 million under its Fannie Mae Guaranteed Multifamily Structures (Fannie Mae GeMS™) program on April 10, 2018.

“The M4 was another milestone in our Green Financing program,” said Dan Dresser, Vice President, Multifamily Capital Markets, Trading & Credit Pricing. “This deal brings our Green GeMS total to $5 billion. The GeMS program supports a liquid secondary market for Fannie Mae Green MBS – enabling more borrowers to make property improvements that reduce the energy or water consumption of their asset, decrease their expenses and the utility expenses of their tenants, and reduce the drain on natural resources – all while providing investors with a high quality investment option.”

All classes of FNA 2018-M4 are guaranteed by Fannie Mae with respect to the full and timely payment of interest and principal. The structure details for the multi-tranche offering are in the table below:
