Fannie Mae Wins Six Securitization Awards from GlobalCapital

Awards Recognize Company's Excellence in Structured Finance

Fannie Mae today announced it has been recognized for excellence in the structured finance industry, receiving six U.S. Securitization Awards from international financial trade publication, GlobalCapital. The annual awards honor companies that most successfully navigated the securitization market in 2017. Winners were determined by nominations, peer reviews, and voting among investors conducted throughout the beginning of 2018. Fannie Mae won in the following categories:

  • Overall Best Securitization Issuer of the Year (second consecutive year)
  • RMBS Issuer of the Year (second consecutive year)
  • RMBS Deal of the Year: for Fannie Mae Connecticut Avenue Securities® deal, 2017-C01 (second consecutive year; previously for 2016-C01)
  • RMBS Data Provider of the Year (second consecutive year)
  • CMBS Issuer of the Year
  • CMBS Deal of the Year: for Fannie Mae GeMS green bond, FNA 2017-M10
