Media AdvisoryWashington, DC—Fannie Mae Senior Vice President and Chief Economist Doug Duncan will address the media on Thursday, June 14th at 10 a.m., ET, to discuss the latest findings from the First-Quarter 2012 Fannie Mae National Housing Survey. The new quarterly survey results provide high-quality information to assess attitudes of the hard to reach delinquent borrower population and shows that delinquency pushes homeowners’ attitudes over the edge.
Duncan also will provide findings from the recently released May 2012 National Housing Survey, which shows that consumer sentiment appears to be reaching a plateau heading into the summer season. And, Duncan will talk about key highlights from the forthcoming Fannie Mae Data Note focused on the coming surge in housing needs for the older elderly.
The media briefing will be a call-in discussion with open Q&A.
Embargoed materials are available upon request, and will be distributed via email upon external release prior to the Media Briefing.
