Zach Oppenheimer is Fannie Mae's Senior Vice President and Head of Customer Engagement. Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Oppenheimer oversees all customer engagement activities including Business Development, Customer Strategy, Customer Solution Development and Implementation, and Customer Marketing and Support. He directs all corporate-wide support for positive external relationships and is responsible for refining the customer segmentation approach, establishing a strategy to enable a more customer-centric approach, and for increasing focus on competitive future positioning.
Previously at Fannie Mae, Mr. Oppenheimer was Senior Vice President, Single-Family Mortgage Business - East Region, and Senior Vice President, Chief Acquisition Officer. He also served as Associate Quality Control Representative in the company's Philadelphia office, Account Manager, Manager of the Regional MBS Department, Director of Marketing, and Vice President – Marketing.
Prior to joining Fannie Mae in 1983, Mr. Oppenheimer was a Savings Manager and Corporate Lending Supervisor at Progress Savings Bank, Norristown, PA.
Mr. Oppenheimer serves on the boards of several community and religious organizations. He has a master of business administration from Drexel University and a bachelor of business administration from Temple University, and has completed post-graduate courses at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
