Investors in Fannie Mae securities have 24-hour-a-day fingertip access to the pool information they need to evaluate their investments. PoolTalk® is Fannie Mae's easy-to-use information tool. Investors have access to Fannie Mae MBS data on current and historical pool factors, pool types, CUSIP numbers, issue and maturity dates, pass-through rates, original and updated weighted-average coupons (WACs), and weighted-average maturities (WAMs).

PoolTalk also provides a variety of frequently requested information on Adjustable-Rate Mortgage (ARM) Fannie Mae MBS, such as projected accrual rates for the current month, margins, updated life caps and floors, accrual reset dates, subtype, and historical information.

You have the option to search for information on a security by one of the following ways:

  • CUSIP number,
  • MBS pool number, or
  • REMIC or SMBS trust number and class name.

Multifamily Securities Locator Service
Investors in Fannie Mae's multifamily securities should use the Multifamily Securities Locator Service for detailed information on the composition and performance of Fannie Mae's multifamily securities and to obtain multifamily MBS disclosure information. Information on multifamily securities is not available on PoolTalk.
